Properties of Kanak Sarwar, Delwar ordered to confiscate

Bangladesh desk: A Dhaka court on Tuesday directed law enforcers to confiscate the properties of fugitive accused journalist Kanak Sarwar and Major (Retd) Delwar Hossain in connection with a case filed under the Digital Security Act (DSA).

Dhaka Cyber Tribunal Judge Mohammad Ash Shams Jaglul Hossain passed the order, asking to submit a report in this regard within December 13.

On June 30, investigation officer of the case Shahbagh Police Station SI Mohammad Russel Molla submitted a charge sheet to the court against them.

On November 2, the court issued warrant orders against the two fugitives taking the charge sheet into cognizance.
