Bangladesh: 2-month-old baby dies from coronavirus at Mymensingh

A  two-month-old baby died from novel coronavirus at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital on Sunday.

Deceased Huzaifa was the son of Mukhlesur Rahman, a resident of Sunjeeb village in Gafargaon upazila of Mymensingh district.

It was learned that the child was admitted to the hospital on August 11 with virus symptoms.

Later, he was found positive for Covid-19.

Huzaifa died at the hospital around 3 pm on Sunday while undergoing treatment there, said deceased’s relative Ripon Mia.

Being informed, State Minister for Housing and Public Works Sharif Ahmed extended a helping hand to the bereaved family with providing of an ambulance.

With the help of two volunteers of ‘Team Ali Yusuf’ Alak Sarkar and Nure Alam, the child was buried at his home.
