Moon sighted, Bangladesh to celebrate Eid on Saturday

Bangladesh desk: Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated across Bangladesh on Saturday as the Shawwal moon was sighted in the country’s sky on Friday evening.

Officials of the Islamic Foundation Bangladesh said that the moon of Shawwal was sighted in Cox’s Bazar at 6:16pm on Friday.

Saudi Arabia and several other Middle Eastern countries celebrated Eid on Friday.
