Economist Ibrahim Khaled’s condition critical, shifted to ICU

Business desk: Former deputy governor of Bangladesh Bank Khondkar Ibrahim Khaled , tested positive for the Covid-19, has been admitted to city’s Bangladesh Specialised Hospital.
The 8o-year-old renowned economist was shifted to the hospital’s ICU because of his critical health condition.
His brother Khondker Muhammad Khaled told media on Tuesday that Ibrahim Khaled had been admitted to the hospital three days ago with the coronavirus infection and strong Pneumonia.
Quoting physicians, he said, condition of the economist became critical on Tuesday morning and was taken to the ICU with 50 percent lung infection.
