Aminul Islam Bulbul new BCB president

Sports desk: Bangladesh Cricket Board elected Aminul Islam Bulbul, a former national cricket team captain, as the board’s president on Friday.
Nazmul Abedin Fahim was elected as the senior vice-president, while Fahim Sinha was appointed as the vice-president.
On Friday, the NSC issued a gazette notification appointing Bulbul as a BCB director.
Aminul replaced Faruque Ahmed, who served as BCB President for nine months before being removed.
The former captain was appointed president on August 21 in 2024 after former president Nazmul Hassan Papon submitted his resignation from abroad, following the ouster of the Sheikh Hasina-led government during in student-led mass uprising in August.
